I don’t have any problem using it wired from now on just kinda annoyed on the extremely short lifespan I got out of it and wanted to share my story. Everything worked perfect and the latency seemed immensely better im not sure why. Then I rebooted my PC and retried it wired and it worked I gamed for 5 hours and rebooted my PC a couple times to make sure it wasn’t like trying to go back to wireless mode and it didn’t. So I thought great my controller is broken. So I’m like **** I’m gonna use it wired so I plugged it in wired and the XBOX light is blinking like it still trying to connect to the adapter like it’s in wireless mode not wired mode and it would not work wired.

At this point I uninstalled the adapter and deleted the driver and reinstalled it rebooted the PC and it worked for 20 minutes until the same thing happened. I unplugged the adapter plugged it back on lights work multiple USB ports nothing. I turned it on and off the lights turned off and on correctly on the adapter and controller but there is zero PC recognition nothing in the accessories app just nothing and no buttons worked. I was playing gears of war ultimate edition and it just stopped responding the light on the adapter and the controller was lit indicating it was still connected.
